In the continuing saga that is WebOS, the half-dead zombie mobile OS, anything can happen. First, a brief rundown: Palm created WebOS, was sold to HP, who then discontinued the OS and left all WebOS devices to die on the vine. Now, HP has found a way to sell (most) of WebOS to LG, who will utilize the OS to augment their smart TV’s capabilities. To outside viewers, this move might be akin to Vic Gundtora’s comment about two turkeys turning into an eagle. However, I like to see it as another exciting chapter in the thrilling WebOS franchise. Dead? Not quite yet.
