Windows RT Now Officially Runs Desktop Apps, Unofficially

So much for security: Windows RT has officially been hacked. According to SurfSec user Clokr, Windows RT has been modified to allow for desktop apps to run unsigned and unverified. This is obviously a security vulnerability, as Windows RT is only allowed to run signed Windows Store apps and the Office 2013 suite. Though there's a lot of positives in running desktop apps on Windows RT, we can't imagine that you'll be photoshopping Nicolas Cage's head onto other people's bodies using your Surface anytime soon.
